I do enjoy costume dramas, especially those ornate scenes and their costumes. (But their hairstyles are quite weird sometimes)*giggle*
Another reason is, it had been a long time that I didn't watch any drama after 'Moonlight Renaissance'.
OK, bec to this drama. Starring by Kent Cheng, Wayne Lai, Sunny Chan, Bernice Liu, Sonija Kwok, Leila Tong etc. Those actors/ actress are likable.

Synopsis:
Dik Yan-Kit (Kent Cheng), one of the most celebrated chancellors, is greatly trusted by Empress Mo Chak-Tin (Rebecca Chan). The Empress's nephew Mo Sing-Chi (Wayne Lai) is jealous and seeks every opportunity to frame him up. He accuses Dik Yan-Kit for colluding with his daughter Dik Ching-Luen's (Bernice Liu) husband Sung Ting-Yuk (Sunny Chan) of treason and an attempt to subvert the Empress's throne. Dik Yan-Kit is left speechless and his family members are all seized in order to the Empress has been incited to action by Mo Sing-Chi. Dik Yan-Kit escapes in chaos but Mo Sing-Chi threatens to kill his second wife Cho Yuet (Sonijia Kwok). The incorruptible and intelligent Dik Yan-Kit is miserably caught in a dilemma and he feels helpless in every way. Would Dik Yan-Kit be able to conquer the traitors eventually and help restore order from a tragic turnaround?
