The day we went Zhuhai from Shenzhen by bus. It takes approximately 3 hours to arrive Gongbei (拱北). We passed by the hometown of Sun Yat-Sen-Zhongshan (中山) and several places.

We lodged at Kee Kwan hotel (大酒店). We booked the room (RMB130) at one of the counter at Gongbei station, got it cheaper than walk-in at the hotel. The room is quite big with double bed and bathroom with a bath tub in it. This hotel is ideal for those budget backpackers, plus, it is near to the Gongbei square (拱北地下广场). I suggested you to go the restaurant on 3rd floor. The food there is delicious enough to satify your appetite and it is damnly cheap.

We started to shop around Gongbei square. We were disappointed though as the price is higher than at Shenzhen, the ppl there will not like to bargain and will not call you back if you leave. *sigh*

Again, after window shopping, we took away yummy Pineapple buns (RMB12/ 6 pieces) and roasted goose (RMB24.80/ 2 pax) from the restaurant and got back to our room. Differently from Malaysia style pineapple bun, the bun we tried at Zhuhai had pineapple pieces in it while Malaysia's is empty inside. We enjoyed our dinner and watching super trio series in room, indeed!
